We live in times when those for whom change has always been a horror bat their lower eyelids. Who is supposed to keep up with this anyway? Haven’t we just had forest dieback and ozone? No sooner have we learned all the old jokes by heart than a new sow is herded through the village. Artificial intelligence – yes, they have money for that!

Tobias Habers predicted it a few years ago in his book „The Great Disenchantment“: „Soon there will be nothing more regrettable to experience than the painful processing of becoming superfluous.“ And voila: Welcome to abundance!

I asked intelligence, the artificial one, the other day what would make a good headline for a clickbait article and she (do you actually notice that intelligence has a feminine article?) gave me this wonderful answer: „Woman desperately wanted to be buried with her fork. When they found out why, they were deeply touched.“ Now that’s what I call progress! PEOPLE! Mankind has toiled for millennia through asteroid impacts, world wars and pandemics, and in the end it sits morbidly on the couch and clicks with curiosity at the woman with a fork in her grave.

I recently read at Franzi Zimmerer’s: „Crying is the superpower of the future“ Nothing fits better in these times!

P.S. Below, as a matching picture/text scissors, the series: Desert (Midjourney)
